oh that’s difficult.  I have quite a bit of experience with this sign (and that birthday in particular) there’s a bit of taurus in there and it’s likely that gives him an extreme stubborn streak.  If you want him around your finger you’re going to have to demonstrate a lot of intellectual strategy and still it’s difficult.  He knows what he wants and he’s impulsive about getting it.  It’s hard to keep in on one task for too long but it’s hard to pull him away from something once he’s dedicated himself to it.  He’s determined but he moves quickly.  It’s a unique mix and taming him will be a challenge.  He thinks he knows best no matter what and regardless of what you say (even if you’re all logic and he’s impulse).  It’s likely that at first he was all yours, 110% dedicated to pleasing you.  Now that he’s more comfortable he is going to stray mentally although emotionally he’s still all yours.  He’s very composed and hard headed and it can be difficult to deal with but when you give him something to work for it’ll jump start his energy in a direction you will appreciate more.  The aries side loves a chase and loves a little hard-to-get but the taurus doesn’t want to go too far out of the comfort zone.  Fine a way to tease him and make him work for it that doesn’t endanger his security (do not threaten leaving or cheating this will only create tons and tons of issues, threatening will get you no where!).  Be creative, make little games for him that require him to use his head and his energy!  Have fun with it yourself too!  If he feels there is a challenge he’ll love it but if he feels there’s a threat he’ll get nervous, find a balance and he’ll be right around your finger again.
